Born in the 1980's (Yes...THAT long ago!), Chris was immediately indoctrinated into the Atkinson, the New Hampshire, and the Timberlane Regional School district. His father was an administrator for 25+ years, so he got a front row seat to the good, bad, and the ugly of how a community can, and should come together for the betterment of everyone. After graduating from Timberlane High School as the Gatorade Basketball Player of the Year, Mr. New Hampshire (award given to the athlete who demonstrates excellence in athletic performance, as well as community service), Chris attended Bentley University, one of the top business schools in the nation. After four years of playing basketball at Bentley, including being a captain and most improved player on the #1 team in the nation, Chris entered the business world where he has spent the past 20+ years building businesses from pre revenue to over $140m in sales. Working within a budget, overcoming hurdles within the top retailers in the nation including Walmart, Target, and CVS, Chris has excelled in growing businesses and has now turned his attention to ensuring that our children have a prosperous future ahead of them. Recently, there has been a denigration of the public education sphere, something Chris is passionately opposed to. He is taking what he has learned in business school, 20+ years of working to achieve success in the food and beverage industry, as well as his passion and dedication for Atkinson to help and propel our young and elderly residents forward. As an advocate and participant in driving the mental health and special education conversation forward, Chris is dedicated to ALL Atkinson residents, and believes in transparency. He would love for you to attend one of his virtual "Coffee with Chris" events to express your thoughts!
